Basically, they're hoping to have a craft fair in early December and are looking for knitters and crocheters to make lots of different things. Here's the flier:
I, for one, am really going to try and make some things for them. They sent me a few free patterns that they're sending out to people who ask, so if you want one, leave a comment with contact details and I'll send the info on.
One of the organisers, Maeve Henchion, will be coming along to the knitting group next Tuesday to fill us in on all the details.
I think you'll agree it's a wonderful cause, so please, if you can, knit or crochet something up!
I'll pass this on to my knit night group next week. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes please! Blackrock Hospice took care of a friend towards the end, and I was very impressed with what they do and how they do it. Send on some patterns for me and I'll see what I can do.
ReplyDeleteI'm not great at knitting to deadlines, even if they are 3 months off!, but I'd be interested in knowing more and I'll see what I can do.
ReplyDeleteI would be very interested in making some things for this - please send me some details/ patterns.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great - I'd love to join in! Any suggestions on what would be suitable to make? And who should I give it to once it's done? Thanks a mil :D
ReplyDeleteI'd like to make some things - if you have any patterns I'd appreciate them - I've only recently started to knit and crochet again. What is the deadline?
